2.5 Days in Cairo - Where to stay and what to see

Hi Guys,

I will be spending 2.5 days in Cairo in mid August.

I am wondering if I should stay at a hotel in Giza or if I should stay right in Cairo. Any suggestions?

Also, I want to make the most of my time in Cairo and will definitely be spending a day at the pyramids so I will have a day and a half to see the rest. Any suggestions for a 'truly unique experience'?

Go (climb) inside the pyramid to see the sarcophagus. It is a must. Ride a camel around there. Go to Valley of the Kings. Pay the extra fee to enter the Tomb of Nefrartitie??? It’s all super painted. You can also enter King Tut's Tomb.
